Mackenzie and Kites

Mackenzie decided to find an fly a kite today. At first she sort of struggled trying to get it up in the air, which I think most people struggle with the first couple times they try to get a kite up. After a lot of trial and error she finally figured out how to get the kite off the ground. So much so that she got the kite maybe 100+ feet off the ground. She was extremely excited when the kite was finally way above the houses and trees.

Meriele Being Meriele

Some catching up to do here. Last week the girls were in Virginia visiting some good friends that used to live right behind us. During that time I had planned to post more items, but got sick during the week and never got to it. Then this week I spent over 90 hours at work solving some serious issues we had. So now I need to catch up.

They say girls mature earlier and Meriele is no exception, especially given she has two older sisters. Today before Betsy got up she had dressed herself in the outfit you see here. When we discovered we said she was big girl and that she had done well. To that she retorted, "No, I am a teenager in this outfit." It is going to be hard enough with one girl entering the teens soon, I don't known if I can handle it if the other two decide they want to be teenagers at the same time.

Of course this follows yesterday's incident with Betsy in the garage. Meriele was getting out of the car and trying to bring some of her stuff with here out of the van. When she got out, she bumped into my car which was parked in the garage next to where Betsy park. Betsy said "Be careful of Daddy's car, Meriele." Meriele quickly retorted "Why did he have to park it so close to my car?"

My 3 Girls M on Easter

Happy Easter!

Today is Easter, so expect some photos of the 3 M girls in their easter outfits later today after church. Yesterday we went to Betsy's parents for an easter egg hunt and the girls were very excited to go running through the yard looking for candy. Also there was Charnie, Dawson and Chloe. We got some video of Chloe hunting for eggs, though it really wasn't much hunting, but more following instructions.

K-BLOG - Animal Cruelty NEEDS to be Stopped

K-BLOG

Just a little message for all you animal cruelty people...

STOP ANIMAL TESTING!!!!

In school we had debates. Two sides: one FOR animal testing, and one AGAINST animal testing. I was on the AGAINST team, and we won by a landslide. Only ONE out of 27 people thought animal testing is right. And he only said that because he has a dog that does nothing. Nice point!
DON'T by dogs from Jacks Aquarium and Pets, their from PUPPY MILLS!!!! >: (
For you who don't know what puppy mills are, they are horrible places with cheap dirty cages for the little puppies. The dogs aren't fed, they're unhealthy, and their owner(s) just care about MONEY. Would you like to be shoved in a tiny cage with lots of other people, never fed, and about to die? That's exactly what I thought.

So SAY NO TO PUPPY MILLS, ANIMAL TESTING, AND ALL OTHER CRUELTY TO ANIMALS!

P.S. When I grow up, I want to be a Animal Cruelty Lawyer. So watch out, people! Kenzie's coming to town!
